Solayer Accel is designed to be lean and focused. That means small cohorts, maximum hands-on support, and a high standard for what’s built. Ideal candidates will be:

• Crypto natives

• Engineering-focused teams that ship weekly.

• Building products where latency and throughput are the focus of the product, taking full advantage of InfiniSVM’s scalability edge.

• Anywhere from pre-MVP to seed stage with a strong thesis and deep understanding of what it takes to be successful in crypto.

In return, successful applicants will be given dedicated time with our engineering team, complete go-to-market support, and warm investor introductions to keep building after demo day.

Successful cohort teams may receive a convertible grant investment directly from Solayer Labs, with the following milestone requirements:

• $10,000 when you’re live on InfiniSVM (launch on mainnet alpha)

• $15,000+ when you hit your chosen stretch KPI (on a case by case basis)

While we are open to all ideas and applications, our focus for our genesis cohort focuses on four lanes where speed and finality change what’s possible. These are:

• DeFi – trading, lending, institutional workflows, credit.

• Consumer – social apps, gaming, real-time interactions.

• Payments – on/off-ramps, spending, subscription services.

• AI – analytics, financial data, LLMs that execute blockchain transactions.

FAQ

Do we need prior SVM experience?

No. SVM-native or SVM-curious is fine. You’ll be building for InfiniSVM and designing for real-time execution.

Remote or in-person?

Remote-first with live sessions and weekly reviews. We recommend being on the ground for Builder Space and Demo Day.

What are the terms and funding?

We invest via a YC post-money SAFE with a token side letter/warrant. Milestone payouts are tied to shipping and are discretionary on verification.

Can we apply outside the four verticals?

Yes! While we are prioritizing DeFi, Payments, Consumer, and AI, all great ideas and projects are welcome.

Do I need to have started development already?

Not required, but proof of work helps. Come ready to start immediately and show prior proof-of-work (repos, prototypes, demos).

What if my project is still at the idea stage?

Apply if the thesis is compelling and you can begin building on day one. We look for speed, clarity, and the ability to turn ideas into products fast.

Is funding dilutive?

Investment via the SAFE is dilutive. Milestone payouts are program awards tied to progress and verification.

Will Solayer Accel guarantee investment?

No, investment is not guaranteed. Only select teams may receive strategic investment from Solayer Labs.

Can I build my project on other blockchains?

Yes, eventually. However, projects must commit to launching exclusively on InfiniSVM for a defined period of time. 

Is there a minimum team size to apply?

No. Solo founders are welcome. Typical cohorts are 1–3 core builders who ship weekly.
