What is Restaking on Solana?

Restaking means that stakers can reuse their staked resources on Ethereum, thereby boosting the crypto-economic security of other proof-of-stake systems, commonly referred to as Actively Validated Services (AVSs). This approach not only maximizes the utilization of staked assets but also escalates overall ecosystem security.

Solayer: the new Standard of Restaking

Solayer is a restaking marketplace developed on Solana. Instead of focusing on exogenous AVSs, Solayer aims to support on-chain dApps initially.

The goal is to provide these dApps with a greater likelihood of securing block space and prioritizing transaction inclusion. These are referred to as endogenous AVSs
