Today we’re proud to introduce bbSOL, an innovative, exchange-backed Liquid Staking Token (LST) created by Bybit in collaboration with Solayer, Sanctum, Kamino Finance, and Orca. bbSOL is a game-changer for liquid staking on Solana, providing Bybit users with a seamless experience between both their CEX and web3 platforms.
Why bbSOL is a Big Deal
Bybit’s decision to partner with Solayer is a testament to our position as the leading restaking network on Solana, and further underscores our commitment to building and supportive innovative new use cases within the Solana ecosystem.
As an exchange-backed LST on Solana, bbSOL bridges the gap between centralized and decentralized finance, offering users a unique opportunity to earn rewards while participating in the Solana ecosystem.
By staking SOL on Bybit, users receive bbSOL tokens, unlocking a multitude of earning opportunities, staking rewards, liquidity rewards, and Miner Extractable Value (MEV) rewards.
Solayer + bbSOL
The benefits of bbSOL go beyond base staking rewards. Through our collaboration with Bybit, bbSOL holders are able to participate in restaking through the Solayer platform, allowing them to increase the L1 security and improve applications bandwidth by delegating their bbSOL tokens to Solayer’s AVS partners in return for additional incentives.
Since our mainnet launch last month, over 112,000 unique wallets have deposited more than $190MM all time high, with significant delegations directed to our four endogenous AVS partners—Bonk, AltLayer, SonicSVM, and Hashkey—now live on Solayer.

Looking Ahead
As we expand support for new products, LSTs, and AVSs, we’re proud to partner with industry leaders like Bybit. bbSOL is set to play a pivotal role in the future of staking on Solana, and Solayer remains committed to driving innovation in Solana infrastructure.
