Looking Back at Q1: InfiniSVM, Fuzzland, and LAYER

Looking Back at Q1: InfiniSVM, Fuzzland, and LAYER

Solayer Core

Apr 11, 2025

At the beginning of the year we announced InfiniSVM, a hardware-accelerated SVM blockchain designed from first principles. Our thesis is simple: blockchains won’t scale to support trillions of transactions through software alone. The future of on-chain finance requires a network that is infinitely scalable, real-time, and built on cypherpunk principles.

Since then, we’ve been heads down building. Internal devnet is now live. Explorer, RPC, and faucet are operational. Throughput has already exceeded 340,000 TPS, with most of the core pipeline offloaded to hardware.

To accelerate security and develop, we acquired Fuzzland, a deeply technical team with expertise in formal verification, on-chain security, and compiler design. Their experience spans critical areas like symbolic execution, zkVMs, fuzzing infrastructure, and bytecode-level auditing.

They’ve now joined Solayer full-time, working across both core protocol development and on our vertical product stack. Internally, they’re focused on securing the InfiniSVM execution pipeline, building fuzzing frameworks for our programs, and contributing to developer tools across the ecosystem.

As part of the same integrated stack, we launched the Mega Validator — now the highest-yielding validator on Solana. Shortly after, we enabled native SOL staking, giving users a direct path to stake without LSTs, while maintaining yield at the top end of the market.

To support the Solana network during periods of congestion, we also made our transaction acceleration endpoint public, giving users priority access when it mattered most, and contributing infra capacity during a time when the Solana ecosystem pulled together to solve hard problems.

We also made cross-chain access to RWAs more accessible. Our collaboration with Wormhole and Mayan allows users to bridge USDC from any supported chain and mint it as sUSD on Solana in a single transaction. No detours. Just direct access to on-chain US T-Bill yields, just like a savings or money market account.

But the success of Solayer isn’t measured solely in benchmarks. It’s measured in the community we build along the way. From the beginning, we’ve structured incentives to support our early adopters and supporters, rewarding long-term participation.

A major milestone in this journey was the launch of LAYER. To make this a reality, we launched the Solayer Foundation, brought season 1 to a close, and completed the Genesis Drop. The community sale followed with over 200,000 registrants and over $57M in subscriptions.

The subsequent token distribution was made possible by being the first large-scale airdrop in history to use cutting-edge technology such as ZK compression to make airdrop claiming efficient.

LAYER is now in the hands of the community and available on many of the top exchanges and DEXes.

This was Q1. The core systems are live. Execution is accelerating. Now we move forward.
